1 Corinthians 3
1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. -kjv
1 Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. -niv
1 Brothers, I was not able to speak to you as spiritual people but as people of the flesh, as babies in Christ. -hcsb
Observation and comments:
Here, Paul is addressing the Corinthians as fellow brothers and sisters. This means that Paul believes that they are saved. However, Paul calls them carnal. This means that their values and behaviours are still worldly. Paul calls them as babies in Christ and says they are not ready for solid food yet. I think we should love the carnal christians in our lives with our words and our actions applying grace and truth, hopefully winning them over to the side of Christ. Nobody knows who is truly saved except God and we leave the things of God to God. We can only try to be a good witness.
I see this that we should not judge as we have heard many times. There is a Bible Passage which I do not remember which states: When we get to Heaven…people who we thought while on earth…some will not be there as some people we thought would not make heaven would be there.
Upon becoming a Christian we all must have time to change and grow up completely to Christ. As in our earthly body it must grow from an infant into adulthood.

Nobody likes to be judged but in this scripture we find Paul judging the Corinthians as carnal. Though I agree sometimes we cannot see the hand of God working and risk being judgmental.
