There are 2 views of Babylon in Revelation 17-18. The first view says that Babylon could be symbolic of Rome. Babylon could be a Roman State. For Dr Michael Rydelnik, he does not believe Jeremiah 50-51 has been fulfilled in its complete way. He believes that Babylon will be rebuilt and Revelation 17-18 aligns with Jeremiah 50-51 and foretells the end of day destruction of Babylon.
