It’s the kindness of God

It’s the kindness/goodness of God that leads us to repentance

Romans 2

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?  -kjv

Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?  -niv

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, restraint, and patience, not recognizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?  -hcsb

  1. If God were not patient, full of love for each us and show much interest in us we would probably not repent and become a Christian living as Jesus does. I probably would have No respect if a God was loud, rough and gave us a deadline to follow him as man does. God shows each of us that we need the salvation of the Lord and to learn about love so we see our mistakes and our sins and ask him to come into each of our souls.

Who makes an Apostle? I would say people much like Jesus who care about eternity more than the material things of the present world. They would need a very strong love for the lost.
